We are looking for a Business Analyst to assist the delivery and rollout of a group-wide software solution upgrade, ensuring that all initiatives meet business requirements and are handed over to business as usual teams as appropriate.
The project is broad in range and requires you to understand the current business needs through exploring the existing environment and business processes and helping to design the ‘to-be’ processes in the target environment.
A key deliverable will be the documentation of the new business processes which will be used to onboard the new platform and for the onboarding of future members of staff.
You will be required to support staff and teams in making recommended changes and to take ownership of the challenges that emerge during this process; developing action plans to solve problems and exploit open improvement opportunities to reach desired results.
At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst working on change programmes affecting people, processes and technology. Ideally with experience of working as a business analyst in the travel industry, particularly in the B2B Tour Operator sector.
Have proven ability in managing change projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies to achieve on-time, on-schedule and on budget delivery
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deal confidently and hold your own with senior stakeholders and strong personalities, being someone who can guide, speak from experience and establish trusted relationships
Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
Have managed a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment.
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding the team accountable for performance
Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
